Suggestions for other game-piece formats are welcome.
(I apologize for the bizarre category, but Deviantart steadfastly ignores the existence of any game other than digital games.)
I'm trying to create a full suite of fairy pieces for my set. I figure I spent a lot of time and care getting the basic version done well, so why stop at the basics while I have the needed crafting materials handy?
It'll be very slow going actually making suitable art without the software, but I know what I'll have to do. I can either screencap the pamphlet's diagram icons blown up to 1" scale and carefully retouch them for clarity and faction identity, or find someone to turn those icons into vector art. I can also have a simple silhouette of Torch's head or outstretched leathery wing made to represent the Dragon.
Most pieces would have versions made in both factions' coloration and heraldry. The Draconequus would be in pale gray and brown, with the reverse side swapping the colors' roles. Similarly, Element reverse facings would swap crystal and background color (magenta and deep purple respectively for the default one, Magic).
Conjectured set count for fairy pieces:
4 Solar and 4 Lunar Griffons
2 Solar and 2 Lunar Dragons
4 Solar and 4 Lunar Changelings
All 6 Elements (due to orthodoxy instead of need)
2 Draconequus
